Transport and HOTAC

Sky Kuwait Aviation Services arranges reliable ground transport and hotel accommodation (HOTAC) for operating and deadheading crew passing through Kuwait International Airport. We follow up on every booking to ensure pickups and transfers run on time, whether crew are moving airside between aircraft and terminal or landside to their hotel.

For accommodation, we work with contracted hotels near the airport that meet your airline’s cost, location and amenity requirements, and can arrange transit or extended-stay bookings on short notice. Transport and HOTAC are coordinated alongside our other ground services – airline representation, permits, and crew meet & assist – so your crew’s transfer from touchdown to hotel and back is managed as one coordinated process rather than separate bookings.

Whether it’s a two-hour layover or a multi-day rotation, delays on the transport or hotel side ripple straight into your next departure. We treat crew transport and HOTAC as part of the operational timeline, not an afterthought booked separately from ground handling.

Booking transport or HOTAC follows the same pattern as our other ground services. We confirm the requirement with your operations centre or crew scheduling team, place the booking with the transport provider or contracted hotel, and confirm those details back to you before the crew arrives. If a rotation changes – a delayed inbound, an extended layover, a different crew count – we adjust the booking directly with the provider rather than leaving your crew to sort it out on arrival.

Sky Kuwait Aviation Services has arranged crew transport and accommodation at Kuwait International Airport (KWI/OKBK) since 2003. That means the contracted hotels and transport providers we work with already understand what an airline crew booking requires, which is what keeps a routine transfer routine even when it’s arranged on short notice.

The same applies to crew meet & assist on arrival, which we cover in full on our dedicated Crew Handling & Crew Services page – here, it’s scheduled alongside the transport booking so the crew’s first point of contact on the ground is already expecting them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do you need transport and hotel requirements?
We can usually confirm standard bookings within hours; for peak periods or specific hotel/room preferences, earlier notice gets you better availability and rates.

Do you handle both operating crew and deadheading crew?
Yes, transfers are arranged for both operating and non-operating (deadhead) crew moving through Kuwait International Airport.

Can HOTAC be arranged alongside our other ground handling services?
Yes – transport and HOTAC are coordinated by the same operations desk managing your permits, fuelling and supervision, so nothing falls between two separate bookings.

What does crew handling include beyond transport and hotels?
Meet & assist, immigration and customs assistance, and lounge access are covered in detail on our dedicated Crew Handling & Crew Services page – coordinated by the same team arranging your transport and HOTAC.

Crew transport and HOTAC requests can go straight to the 24/7 operations desk on +965 992 64 555, by SITA to KWISKXH, or by email to airops.kuwait@skykuwait-aviation.com.
